The Kitchen | New York

The Kitchen is one of New York City’s oldest nonprofit spaces, showing innovative work by emerging and established artists across disciplines.

In conjunction with the Video Curator and Executive Director, Sarah Kornfeld researched, positioned, and produced The Kitchen’s National Art and Technology Network. The project was supported by the Ford Foundation, and members of the Network included Laurie Anderson, Philip Glass, The MIT Media Lab, Bill T. Jones, Michael Naimark, and leading university programs with Art and Technology labs and creative spaces.

The project culminated with two think tanks, one at The Kitchen and one at the University of Arizona. The framework/connections amongst the Network informed a decade of collaboration and project development around the world.
